It’s been 6 weeks since the last update and I haven’t really gotten much work done. The composite USB section is in the works, but with the break coming up, I don’t know when I’ll be able to post it. I’m renovating my bathroom right now so all my free time is spent at Home Depot. For some reason, I always end up spending 2 hours when I only need to get some screws. Maybe I’ll post some pictures up.

In other news, the bitter northeast winter is almost among us! Fortunately I have enough fleece and hoodies to get through the ordeal. Man, did it get cold all of the sudden on the east coast. I was planning to do some yard work last weekend, but I think it might have to wait until spring.

The next goal is to create a device that can talk back and forth with a host. I’ve added a new section that specs out the communications protocol for a custom communications HID device, as well as some example of hypothetical transmissions. The next update will complete the design of the device. Get a load of the write up here.

In other news, I’ve just gotten back from vacation and it was very relaxing. I went to visit a friend in Turkey for a few days and that region of the world is absolutely beautiful. It is not all sand and camels as the traditional stereotype would make you believe.
